Traditionally hand painted ethnic Kalamkari Chennuri silk dupatta in earthen tone. Hand painted with intricate nuances. Give an Aesthetic touch to your wardrobe.
This is a Srikalahasti style kalamkari art wherein the "kalam" or pen is used for free hand drawing and filling in the colors, the dupatta is entirely hand worked. The Process that goes behind the crafting of these Kalamkari Dupattas is long and laborious one. It begins with the unbleached cloth being dipped in a solution of myrobalan and buffalo milk to form an insoluble material, which clings firmly to the fibers of the cloth. This is followed by drawing the outlines of the art work with kalam dipped in a 15-day solution of iron filings and jaggery. Natural colours such as indigo, alum and madder are now filled in, the cloth dried and the piece washed in the running waters of Swarnamukhi river. The Kalamkari piece is now ready - a collage of mythology, religion, history, geography, stroke work and the intense dedication of the artist.

How long does it take for an order to arrive?

What if the product is received in damaged condition?
If you think you have received the product in a bad condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person. We will personally ensure that a brand new replacement is issued to you with no additional cost subject to availability or else your money will be refunded. Please make sure that the original product tag and packing is intact when you send us the product back.
